Gear Gareth loves

Gareth's musical journey kicked off at age nine with an acoustic guitar in hand, setting the stage for an electrifying career. He earned honors from Salford University’s Popular Music and Recording course and further honed his skills at Trinity College of Music in London. From there, he hit the ground running, joining the band FAT alongside Daniel "Woody" Woodgate (Madness) and signing with Mercury Records to launch his recording career.

A bold move to the U.S. opened the door to collaborations with super-producer Ric Wake (Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez), leading to work with A&M and Columbia Records. FAT’s explosive presence on the scene saw Gareth touring extensively, sharing the stage with rock icons like Faith No More, Megadeth, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Third Eye Blind, Smash Mouth, Creed, Primus, and The Prodigy. His guitar work can be heard on tracks by the multi-platinum artist Anastacia, whose album sales surpass 38 million. As a record producer, Gareth’s music has been mixed by industry titans including Andy Wallace (Linkin Park, Slayer, Jeff Buckley) and Tim Palmer (U2, David Bowie, Pearl Jam).

Expanding his reach, Gareth made waves in the action sports world, placing music with ESPN’s X-Games before taking the reins as the producer for EXPN Radio and ESPN Action Sports Radio. He worked alongside extreme sports legends Tony Hawk, Dave Mirra, Matt Hoffman, and Travis Pastrana’s Nitro Circus, creating a high-energy sonic backdrop for adrenaline-fueled events.

His film and TV credits read like a Hollywood insider’s dream, with scores and songs featured in productions from Renaissance Motion Pictures, Koralis Entertainment, Miramax, Hollywood Pictures, MTV Films, and Belair Entertainment. His music pulses through films like Ready to Rumble, An American Werewolf in Paris, and Boys and Girls. On the small screen, he’s worked with Jerry Bruckheimer, ESPN, TBS, Turner, MTV Animation, and Mattel Television, including projects for the Barbie brand.

Beyond film and television, Gareth has brought major theme park experiences to life with orchestral scores and pop music for Chimelong and Vinpearl, creating immersive experiences for visitors worldwide.

Since 2005, he’s been a dynamic force in the Blue Man Group, performing globally while continuing to compose and produce music through his award-winning company, Tinpig Music LLC.
